Stoke manager Tony Pulis has been fined £10,000 and warned as to his future conduct by the Football Association after comments made following the Carling Cup defeat to Liverpool.
"Stoke City manager Tony Pulis has today been fined £10,000 by The FA and warned as to his future conduct after being charged in respect of media comments which were found by an independent Regulatory Commission to have constituted improper conduct," said a statement from the FA.
Pulis was unhappy with the verdict and revealed he is considering an appeal.
"I am very disappointed with the outcome," he told the club's official website.
"I have requested written reasons and I am considering an appeal."
