Inspirational Liverpool captain, Steven Gerrard, has hailed the impact of the Reds influential striker, Luis Suarez, claiming that the Uruguayan striker has all the attributes to become of the best attackers in the world.

"To see Luis day in, day out has been a real eye-opener for me. I knew he was a good player. Having worked with him on a regular basis I think he has the potential to be one of the best in the world" he said.

"I think at the age he's at it was perfect for him to sign for us. I felt he was a player we needed and that we were a club he needed to be at. He now has a platform here to prove over the next five or six years that he's one of the best players in the league," Steven Gerrard concluded.

You’ll never walk alone

Hold your head up high
And don’t be afraid of the dark.
At the end of a storm is a golden sky
And the sweet silver song of a lark.
Walk on through the wind,
Walk on through the rain,
Tho’ your dreams be tossed and blown.
Walk on, walk on with hope in your heart
And you’ll never walk alone,
You’ll never, ever walk alone.

Walk on, walk on with hope in your heart
And you’ll never walk alone,
You’ll never, ever walk alone.
