Damien Comolli has identified Valencia’s in form striker Roberto Soldado as a target he feels will give his Anfield side a much needed injection of fire-power.
Last term Soldado netted 25 for the Mestalla side and has followed that up with 10 in 16 this term and Comolli has scouted the predatory finisher with a view to making an offer in the region of £15m to test the water.
