Liverpool centre-back Jamie Carragher poised for return

Jamie Carragher, the Liverpool vice-captain, is hoping to return to full training next week and is aiming to be fit to face Chelsea at Stamford Bridge a week on Sunday.


The centre-back has missed the last two matches with a calf injury and is keen to get back into action, although he will not set himself a deadline for the trip to the capital.
