Liverpool boss, Kenny Dalglish, has hailed the performance of the Reds’ influential midfielder, Charlie Adam, in the recent win against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.
"Charlie played very well but there's nothing he's doing that has surprised us. He won the ball back on many occasions during the game, but that one for the first goal was highlighted more because it resulted in us scoring. His pass for the second goal was sublime as well."
"He was someone we wanted to get in January but it didn't happen. I don't think it's been a bad bit of business. I don't think he will rest on his laurels either. He wants to push onwards and upwards and so do we," Kenny Dalglish concluded.
