soccernet.espn.go.com

Liverpool assistant manager Steve Clarke has confirmed that Jamie Carragher could return to first-team action for this weekend's Premier League trip to Chelsea.

"Jamie has joined in training over the last couple of days and looked good."

"We just made sure he took his time, recovered from it, and he's trained well these past couple of days.

"He'll be in contention for the weekend if there are no mishaps between now and the game"Clarke said.

The player added: "It's the best time to be injured because you don't miss too many games"

"It's down to the manager and the coaching staff, but once I'm back with the lads, I'm back for the squad, the team or bench - whatever it may be."

You’ll never walk alone

Hold your head up high
And don’t be afraid of the dark.
At the end of a storm is a golden sky
And the sweet silver song of a lark.
Walk on through the wind,
Walk on through the rain,
Tho’ your dreams be tossed and blown.
Walk on, walk on with hope in your heart
And you’ll never walk alone,
You’ll never, ever walk alone.

Walk on, walk on with hope in your heart
And you’ll never walk alone,
You’ll never, ever walk alone.
